Building with public Shopping Area
A two storey Bank and Office building including a puplic shoping area and the new city main square form the new City Center
of a 10.000 inhabitant town in Austria. The urban axes of movement from different directions (street axes, pedestrian axes and cycle paths) resulted in a polygonal shape that incorporates these directions. The ground floor itself is continuous and transparent, oriented in all directions. There is a small park on the side facing away from the square. The upper floor houses a visitor and service center with a small conference unit that can also be used externally.
